Great Wall of China Trek

27th August - 6th September 2010

Trekking along the Great Wall of China is one of the great travel experiences on earth.  Imagine walking on several sections of this incredible architectural phenomenon, on the 15th century Ming Dynasty hardrock wall, and then descending in the afternoons on local trails to quaint villages in Hebei Province to camp and meet the local people.  Let us take you to the Middle Kingdom’s national icon for 5 days of exploration and cultural discovery!

Each trekker will pay for their own travel and accommodation, and commit to raising at least $3,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation to fund ground-breaking research into burns treatments.  In China they will have the privilege of visiting a local hospital where burns specialists are working with our own Royal Children’s Hospital doctors to improve treatments and outcomes for children dealing with burns injuries.

All places for the China trip have been filled - Registrations for the next 7 Wonders Challenge will open soon.
