Everest Virtual Challenge

The Everest Virtual Challenge, presented by Heritage Building Society, is a walking challenge where you and your team mates race to the ‘virtual' top of the world.

Just 10,000 steps per person per day for a team of 15 will add up to 2.1 million steps - the number a mountain climber would take when climbing to the summit of Mount Everest!

Every day team members log their steps into the Everest Virtual Challenge website. Teams can track their progress along the designated route via the online map. You can also see how you're going compared to other teams.

Each participant raises funds through their own personalised fundraising online page to help work wonders for sick kids. Funds raised will support children's medical research to find faster diagnoses, better treatments and ultimately cures for childhood illnesses.

Our next Everest Challenge will be in early 2010 – contact Bill Maddock on (07) 3852 1199 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more information.
