As part of the Woolworths Fresh Food Kids Hospital Appeal, stores in Queensland and northern New South Wales (NSW) fundraise all year round to raise as much money as possible to help work wonders for sick kids at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Queensland. Since our partnership started in 1986, Woolworths staff, suppliers, and customers across Queensland and northern NSW have raised more than $22 million for sick kids at the Royal Children's Hospital.

In 2011 alone, they raised a record-breaking $2,680,764.39 through raffles, sausage sizzles, trivia nights, and many more activities. $2.68 is a phenomenal result, and a great way to celebrate 25 years of fundraising. Thank you Woolies!
You can get behind the Queensland and northern NSW Woolworths Fresh Food Kids Hospital Appeal by supporting their many in-store fundraisers throughout 2012. Once again customers will have the chance to win a car or groceries for a year by adding a $2 raffle ticket to their grocery bill. Customers will also be able to support the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation by purchasing special merchandise and wall tokens. So keep an eye out for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation fundraisers next time you visit your local Woolies!
