What We Do

Competitive Grants

New Grant round closing soon!

The Competitive Grants program is offered for both research and non-research programs and initiatives within the Royal Children’s Hospital and Children's Health Service District (RCH & CHSD). Funds are channelled to high priority needs and initiatives that create wonderful outcomes for sick children.

The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce approval has been granted by the Treasurer of Queensland for the establishment of the Queensland Children's Medical Research Institute (QCMRI), a partnership between Royal Children's Hospital and Royal Children's Hospital Foundation.

The RCH Foundation will continue its strong commitment to paediatric medical research through QCMRI.

Guidelines for Preliminary Research Program Proposals for 2010 are available at QCMRI Grants. Applications for the current round of Program Grants have now closed.

The RCH Foundation supports non-research initiatives at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Children's Health Service District as well as equipment and projects in regional hospitals throughout Queensland.   Applicants should view the guidelines and applications forms at Non-Research Grants.  Applications close mid March and mid September, 2010.
