As you plan your final farewells and look to honouring the memory of your loved one, the choice of music, words and surroundings will play a large part in the farewell process.
Flowers are a traditional way of honouring someone you love and through your gift of flowers, purchased through the Petals Network,
20 per cent of every order will be donated to the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The greatest proportion of Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation funding goes towards paediatric research programs which may one day lead to faster diagnoses, more rapid healing, better treatments and even cures for a vast array of childhood illnesses and conditions.
We would be most grateful if you would consider the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation as the beneficiary a memorial gift through your purchase of flowers.
These gifts will help us fulfil our vision of creating a community of healthier children.
Alternatively, you, a member of your family or your funeral director can contact the Donor Care department at the Foundation by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or on 1300 SICK KIDS (1300 7425 5437) to arrange for a supply of Memorial Envelopes to be sent to the funeral director for distribution at the service.
You could also arrange for your funeral director to include your request for donations to the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation or the purchase of flowers from the Petals Network in your official newspaper notice.
