Why climb Everest

Companies climb the corporate ladder
The Everest Virtual Challenge is a fantastic wellness and team building opportunity for your staff. It brings them together for a good cause and promotes healthy exercise among the group. This is a great opportunity for participating staff to get bragging rights and for other staff and suppliers to follow your challenge! Why not register more than one team and create a bit of healthy rivalry!

Fun with family and friends
Get together a group of your friends and family members and create your own team. If you don’t have a group of people to climb Everest with, join one of our Walking Wonders teams! We’ll guide you up the mountain and make sure you have lots of fun along the way.

Prizes for your efforts
There are some great prizes up for grabs to reward you for your trekking and fundraising efforts. Check out the exciting prizes you can win by trekking to the summit! We appreciate the generosity we receive from our keen trekkers and like to thank you for your support.

Perhaps the best reason of all – to help work wonders for sick kids like Jack!
Knowing that you are a part of something big and helping to achieve some big goals is a great feeling. Each year, the Royal Children’s Hospital cares for more than 30,000 children from all over Queensland, northern New South Wales and beyond. About 60 per cent of these children come from regional and rural areas.

It is through the support of the community that the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation can continue to work wonders for sick kids by investing in groundbreaking research leading to faster diagnoses, better treatments and ultimately cures for childhood illnesses. Our team of 500 friendly volunteers help deliver a patient care program which provides practical support to staff, sick kids and their families.
