Newsflash

Easter Wall Token Challenge

Easter is a special time of giving so we would love your school to get involved in our Schools Easter Wall Token Challenge to work wonders for sick kids.

For two weeks, from March 5-18, this challenge encourages students to substitute the “traditional” chocolate egg for Easter wall tokens, which they can sell to family and friends for $2 each. Tokens, with the names of each sponsor, can then be used to adorn a chosen part of the school to form a “wall of support” for sick kids.

To register your schools for this great challenge, please complete the registration form and return by Monday 13 February 2011.

One of the fantastic schools’ working wonders for sick kids is Wilston State School on Brisbane’s northside. Since 1988 Wilston State School has held an annual Wonderday activity in support of the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Over this period the entire school has been involved in a range of fundraising activities – none as successful as their lunch stalls. Thanks to the ongoing support of the school community, more than $13,000 has been raised to help sick kids!
