Community Child Health Centres

 

 

Volunteers assist nursing staff to run parenting programs in the Paddington, Nundah, Strathpine and Alderley Community Child Health Centres and the Ellen Barron Family Centre, Chermside. Tasks include:

  • Meeting and greeting participants
  • Distributing and collecting forms
  • Setting up audio visual equipment, refreshments, toys and activities
  • Maintaining notice boards

Volunteers must be able to work independently, have a bubbly and enthusiastic nature, and be able to relate to people from a variety of backgrounds.
