Running4Research

Get your sneakers on for Running4Research 2008!

Running4Research is the annual fun run of the Woolworths Fresh Future Appeal, which raises more than one million dollars every year to help the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation work wonders for sick kids.

Held on Sunday, June 22 in Orleigh Park, West End, it's an ideal location for an early morning run and a stone's throw to your favourite coffee shops for a post-run caffeine fix and a big brekky on a chilly morning!!

Entrants can choose an event to suit their fitness level and can register for a 10km run, 5km run/walk, 1.5km junior run or 1.5km open walk. Just by participating, entrants go in the draw to win some fantastic prizes!

Money raised this year will help support the research conducted by the "bug detectives" at the Royal Children's Hospital. Their work aims to find answers about how to better diagnose, treat, and prevent infectious diseases affecting children everywhere. So lace up your running shoes and click here to download a registration flyer. See you there!

On-line registrations have now closed, however registration is open from 6am on the morning.
