The Everest Virtual Challenge which sees participants race to the ‘virtual’ top of the world is set to take place from 17th - 30th May 2010.

Just 10,000 steps per person per day for a team of 15 will add up to 2.1 million steps – that’s the number a mountain climber would take when climbing to the summit of Mount Everest!

Every day team members log their steps into the Everest Virtual Challenge. Teams can track their progress along the designated route via the online map. You can also see how you're going compared to other teams.

Participants are encouraged to seek sponsorship during the Challenge to work wonders for sick kids.

Funds raised will support children's medical research and patient services including the Wonder Factory – our children's entertainment room.
