The Sunday Mail Suncorp Bridge to Brisbane is set to be bigger and better than ever. More than 42,000 participants of all ages and fitness levels took part in Queensland’s biggest annual fun run in 2011 raising more than $400,000 for charity. You don’t need to be an elite athlete to join in. Just choose the 10km or 5km course and run or walk your way to the finish line.
So why not encourage your family, friends and work colleagues to get involved, join the ‘Working Wonders team’ and help work wonders for sick kids at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

This year, for the first time ever, you can reduce your time for the Bridge to Brisbane by raising more money for charity.
Every dollar you raise for charity will count for one second off your Hero Time. Your Hero Time is your race time minus the bonus seconds awarded for your fundraising. You will have until midday Friday 31 August to raise as much money via the official Everyday Hero fundraising page. Full conditions of entry
Everyone participating in the Bridge to Brisbane will get a Hero Time. So it’s not just how fast you are, or how much money you raise. It’s both - which is guaranteed to make it more interesting to compete against your workmates, friends, family or just yourself.
And teams can have combined Hero Times too.
So start fundraising and build your own page to work wonders for sick kids. Let your family and friends know by e-mailing your unique link to them or posting it on your Facebook and Twitter pages.
