The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation received a cheque this morning from b105 for an amazing $1,395, 400.
Brisbane's most generous radio station, which broadcasted live from the front of the Royal Children's Hospital, raised the money through their annual b105 Christmas Appeal.

The cheque was presented during the Appeal finale, along with live performances from popular artists, Vanessa Amorosi and Guy Sebastian.
Guy Sebastian and guitarist, Carl Dimataga, also made an encore performance at the bedsides of sick kids who weren’t well enough to leave their wards, entertaining them with Christmas carols and hits from his latest album.

“Just seeing the smiles on their faces makes it all worthwhile,” said Guy Sebastian, who also generously donated to the b105 Christmas Appeal.
CEO of the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, Karenlee Spillane, was extremely grateful for generous donations.
“Thanks to the support of b105 and all the people who donated to the Christmas Appeal, we can continue to help work wonders for sick kids by funding groundbreaking research and medical equipment,” said Karenlee Spillane.
The b105 breakfast announcers, Labrat, Camilla and Stav, worked a marathon 27 consecutive hours leading up to the finale of the b105 Christmas Appeal.
