Harcourts Aspley recently held a Christmas charity event to spread Christmas cheer to sick kids.
Harcourts Aspley Director, Johnny Lin, said it was the staff's idea to support the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation through the event.
"We would normally spend a lot of money on our staff Christmas party and this year we thought why not celebrate with people that we know and have a good time but at the same time raise money for a good cause," said Mr Lin.
"All our staff were more than happy to put in the extra effort as well as sacrifice having a big and expensive Christmas party, in order to help work wonders for sick kids."
Earlier this year, the Harcourts Foundation awarded the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation with a $17, 000 grant to the Auditory and Speech Pathology Department to assist with the production of educational DVDs for children diagnosed with permanent hearing loss.
The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation would like to express its gratitude to the team at Harcourts Aspley for raising an outstanding $2108 to work wonders for sick kids this Christmas. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Harcourts in the future.
