Global construction firm, Laing O'Rourke, are not only investing in the future of Queensland's infrastructure, they have also have a commitment to helping the state's sick kids.
The annual Brian Clayton Memorial Golf Day, which memorialises a Laing O’Rourke employee who lost his life in the Asian Tsunami of 2004, has become a key event Laing O’Rourke’s corporate calendar.
This year, the golf day took place at Kawana Downs Golf Course on the 2nd November and attracted teams from a number of companies in the infrastructure and construction industries.
The event raised $10, 000, which Laing O’Rourke generously agreed to gift match to bring the total to an incredible $20, 000.
The funds raised through this event will work wonders for sick kids by investing in paediatric medical research that will have an impact not just on Queensland's kids, but children worldwide.
Laing O'Rourke's contribution to the RCHF will be displayed on a Christmas tree as a part of the Kids Christmas Appeal. To donate, click here
