Registrations are now open for the Noosa Triple 000 Mountain Bike Challenge, which will be held on Saturday 1st October, 2011.The inaugural event, held in April 2010, raised over $20,000 to work wonders for sick kids.
The event commences at 8am and runs until 4pm with options to ride solo or in a team of 2, 3, or 4. Riders will complete a 14km loop through state forest.
The Noosa Triple 000 8 hour Mountain Bike Challenge is a fun, friendly event that is accessible to both serious and casual riders.
Camping is available on the Friday and Saturday night, included in your registration fee.
Cost: $70 per rider ($60 early bird)
Date and Time: 1st October, 2011, 8am – 4pm
Venue: Pomona State School (camping); Route through Yurol Forest
Accommodation: Free camping with registration price. Pomona State School is within walking distance of the historic town of Pomona with a lovely pub, restaurants, kid’s playgrounds, supermarkets and other facilities.
