Brisbane Lions star Simon Black made a $75,000 deal on Deal or No Deal - and donated the prize to us.

Andrew O'Keefe and Simon Black on the set of Deal or No DealBrisbane Lions player Simon Black made a guest appearance on Channel 7’s Deal or No Deal on Monday 20 September 2010, winning $75,000 for a home viewer and his charity of choice – the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Simon appeared on the show as part of the Footy Finals Fever week, celebrating the lead-up to the 2010 AFL grand final.

After losing his chance at winning $200,000 twice, Simon took one last gamble to reveal the $75,000 in his chosen case.

We thank Simon for donating the winnings to the Foundation to help work wonders for sick kids by supporting our search for faster diagnoses, better treatments and ultimately cures for childhood illnesses and disease.
