Our '7 Wonders Challenge' to Nepal is your opportunity to trek in the Himalayas, home to Mount Everest, one of the 7 Wonders of the World.
Imagine trekking the remote foothills of the Himalayas through traditional Hindu villages and pristine forests. At the end of your trekking day, your ridge-top camp will reward you with remarkable views of some of the world's highest mountains. Your trip will be made complete with a two day safari at Chitwan National Park in search of rhino and the Bengal tiger.
Itinerary at a glance
- Day 1 Depart Brisbane. Fly via Bangkok to Kathmandu.
- Day 2 Arrive in Kathmandu (1330m).
- Day 3 Half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Rest of day at leisure.
- Day 4 Fly to Pokhara, trek to Australia camp (1990m)- aproximately 2 hours walking.
- Day 5 To Landruk (1640m) – approximately 5 hours walking.
- Day 6 To Naya Pul (1000m) - approximately 5 hours walking.
- Day 7 To Ghandruk (1740m) - approximately 4 hours walking.
- Day 8 To Bhanjyang (2100m) - approximately 4 hours walking.
- Day 9 To Pame (900m) - approximately 4 hours walking, transfer to Pokhara.
- Day 10 To Bhadure (1550m) - approximately 5 hours walking.
- Day 11 Drive Pokhara to Chitwan approximately 4 hrs drive.
- Day 12 Safari in Chitwan National Park.
- Day 13 Drive to Kathmandu approximately 5 hrs drive.
- Day 14 Depart Kathmandu via Bangkok to Brisbane.
- Day 15 Arrive Brisbane.
