Fresh Food Appeal

Woolworths reached a record during 2012, announcing an incredible $4.4 million for the Children’s Health Foundation to distribute amongst research, equipment and patient services for sick kids at the Royal Children’s Hospital! This donation was raised through the efforts of enthusiastic Woollies staff whom held raffles, tokens, fancy dress days, barbecues and many other events to help raise these funds.

As part of the Woolworths Fresh Food Kids Hospital Appeal, stores in Queensland and northern New South Wales (NSW) fundraise all year round to raise as much money as possible to help work wonders for sick kids at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Queensland. Since our partnership started in 1986, Woolworths staff, suppliers, and customers across Queensland and northern NSW have raised more than $26 million for sick kids at the Royal Children's Hospital.
