Running4Research is all about raising money to work wonders for sick kids. And this year it’s even easier by fundraising online. When you register, your very own fundraising page will be automatically set up. You can fully customise your page by adding a photo and telling your story about participating and raising money for sick kids. You then email your family, friends and colleagues a link to your webpage, inviting them to sponsor you and offer their messages of support. All donations over $2 are fully tax deductible and a receipt is immediately issued.

Money raised this year will help support the research conducted by the "bug detectives" at the Royal Children’s Hospital. Their work aims to find answers about how to better diagnose, treat, and prevent infectious diseases affecting children everywhere.

Here are some handy tips to boost your fundraising:

  2. Upload or enter all of your email contacts.
  3. Send an email to all of your friends asking them to donate to support your run.
  4. Ask your employer if they will match the donations you raise.
