What's been happening in the world of Volunteers and Hospital Services this week???
This week we are looking for vollies for the RCH School, we welcome all our new volunteers, there are RCH Foundation job opportunities and much more!
The RCH School is currently looking for 1 or 2 volunteers who are studying education or have a history working in Education for one 3 – 4 hour shift a week.
We also are looking for a volunteer to help nursing staff at the Nundah Community Child Health Centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Saturday 13 February was our first intake of volunteers for 2010. We had a wonderful group of 55 new volunteers who are keen to get started! Please keep an eye out over the next few weeks for our new recruits and help us welcome them to the team!!

An $8,000 wedding reception at the Normanby Hotel’s new million dollar restaurant Bovine has reached $800 on eBay. Half of the winning bid will be donated to Brisbane’s Royal Children's Hospital Foundation!
The wedding was posted on the auction website on Sunday for 99 cents to allow loved-up Valentine’s Day couples a chance to follow-up on their proposal. The reception is for 80 guests and includes a three course meal, with a variety of dishes, and a four hour beverage package.
The auction ends Wednesday, February 24 at 17.24 (AEDT) and the package must be taken by end of February 2011.
