Parents in Theatre Volunteering - "On-Call" Vols Needed

Our Parents in Theatre Volunteers do an amazing job of supporting assisting parents and carers as they prepare to accompany their child into the operating theatre. The parents are always grateful for the support our volunteers offer them, both before and after the anaesthetic procedure. This allows medical staff to focus on the child, whilst the volunteer offers a helping hand to the parent.

While this service is full, we are often looking for volunteers to fill in shifts when people are away or unwell. If you are available during business hours and are interested in being trained as a Parents in Theatre Volunteer to help us cover these shifts. Please contact theresia on 07 3852 1199 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more information.
