Weekly update, 28 March 2011

Welcome to  this week's edition of Watch this Space.  Please take note of our operating hours throughout the Easter break.  

 

Volunteer Shifts: Friday 22 April to Tuesday 26 April

Over the Easter period the Wonder Factory will be operating from 10:00am-2:00pm. 

Please note that the normal roster will NOT be in operation.  Volunteer shifts will operate from 9:45am to 2:15pm on these days: 

  • Good Friday April 22 
  • Easter Saturday April 23
  • Easter Sunday April 24   
  • Anzac day Monday April 25
  • Easter Monday holiday Tuesday April 26

The sign on sheets are located in the Wonder Factory kitchen.  Book Bunker and Pet Therapy volunteers can also sign on for these shifts.

Normal Hours will resume on Wednesday 27 April. 

Please note that Monday 2 May is the Labor Day Public Holiday. The volunteer shift on this day will be 9:45am to 2:15pm.

Information Desk and Administration volunteer shifts will not operate during this period (22 April to 26 April inclusive).

Volunteer Tip of the Week

We know this tip of the week keeps appearing but that’s because it is SO important.  Here it is again for those that haven’t seen it…

Keep an eye on your Blue Card expiry date.  It is your responsibility to advise us when it will expire and we will assist you with the paperwork.  If your Blue Card expires we are required to take you off the roster until your new card arrives.  It can take up to 3 months for your paperwork to be processed so make sure you process it early, early, early.
