Welcome to this week's edition of Watch this Space. Please take a look at our Special Projects page as well.
If you are looking for your next adventure… this could be it!
Following on from the success of the 2010 '7 Wonders Challenge' trekking the Great Wall of China, we are excited to announce our next destination. We want you to be one of 18 travellers joining us for this amazing adventure trekking the Himalayas, Nepal.
Imagine trekking through traditional Hindu villages and pristine forests to ridge top camps with breathtaking views of the world’s highest mountains. Your trip will be made complete with a two day safari at Chitwan National Park in search of rhino and the Bengal tiger.
Arranged by World Expeditions, this amazing 15-day adventure will depart in September 2011. Each trekker will pay for their travel and accommodation, and commit to raising at least $3,000 to fund groundbreaking research into childhood illnesses at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
"I thoroughly recommend this 'fundraising' holiday to anyone. The people you meet and the experiences you have are life changing."

We welcome Rebecca, James, Keira and Kate to the Wonder Factory crew and Libby to the Book Bunker Team.
We say farewell to James and thank him for all the time and effort he put into the WF and working wonders for sick kids.
Banksia and Turner (B&T) are the Oncology wards and the patients in these wards are immunocompromised. It is imperative that the only cardboard games that go to these wards are the ones stored on the B&T shelves. They are easy to identify as they are covered in red plastic and have labels saying Banksia & Turner. These games are for exclusive use to B&T and are never loaned to other wards.
All other cardboard games should go to general wards only (Surf, SurfSide, McConnel and Robertson) and should never be loaned to B&T. PLEASE ask your Supervisor if you’re not sure.
A great photo to assist with our volunteer tip of the week! Glenda, standing on the left, is at the Banksia & Turner shelves holding a cardboard box covered in the B&T red plastic.
Angela, to the right, is holding the same game, without the red plastic in the resource area that shelves the games for general wards. Thank you Glenda and Angela for helping out!
