The Everest Virtual Challenge is an annual walking challenge where you and your team attempt to walk to the virtual top of the world.
Gather a team of 15, or join one of our teams, and challenge yourself to take 10,000 steps a day for two weeks to walk the equivalent of climbing to the summit of Mt Everest.
Log your steps online, track your team’s progress up Mt Everest, and see how you’re going compared to other teams. Get your colleagues, friends and family to sponsor you via your personal fundraising page and help the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation work wonders for sick kids. Join in the fun and get fit. You can win great prizes, including the ultimate Everest experience – a trek to base camp in the Himalayas.
Registration for the event is $25.00 per person, with a maximum of 15 people per team. Each participant receives a pedometer and a password to log their steps online when they register.

This week the Wonder Factory crew welcomes Gyu Sung Lee, Alicia Hahn, Lisa Moore, Sandy Wang, Cosima McGrath, Sanne Voogt, Jayde Sutton, Rosemary Hughes, Melanie Tranter and Sally Louise Leontakianakos.
Thank you to all the volunteers who came in over the Easter weekend. We cannot run this service without our dedicated volunteers.
There are always families in hospital over the holidays. We have been very busy over the school holidays, particularly over the Easter long weekend.
It certainly does make you appreciate just how lucky we really are, when you see what some families here at the RCH endure. Thanks for helping make the Wonder Factory a place where, together, we truly can work wonders for sick kids. I would like to thank you all for giving up your time over the Easter break.
We appreciate all that you do and are really grateful for your time and dedication.
